His Secret Twins, My Silent Goodbye

Prologue

I married the man who took me in after my parents died.

He used to be my entire world, the husband I thought would love me forever.

Yet only a few years into our marriage, he kicked me out into the cold for another woman and her son.

At that time, I was already carrying his twins.

When I fell down the stairs and lost our babies, he didn't even know he had been a father.

I lay in that hospital bed, drowning in grief all by myself, while he was on his knees across town, building Lego sets with another child and playing happy family with another woman.
