The High Priest Begged for the Mermaid Princess He Forgot

"Bring me the flowers to me." Those were the words my adoptsister said to me at my own bridal fitting. I was the Mermaid Princess who gave up her crown for the High Priest of Solyne. I held him through seven gentle years. He let my adoptsister wear my gown. He never noticed when I disappeared from his life. So on our wedding day, I left my ring on the sacred altar and walked away.

He searched for eight years. And I will never know.
