"Mr. Cooper, is what this lady said true?"

"Are you really in a secret marriage and even have a six-year-old child?"

"What's the relationship between you and Ms. Watson?"

But before Oliver could answer, Kayla fainted. I saw her wink at me. She was faking it again.

"I won't answer private questions. Kayla has fainted. The press conference is stopped today. She can't be hurt in any way!"

Oliver stopped the commotion and said coldly to me, "Melissa, it's too much of you to deliberately stimulate Kayla like this!"

After that, he pushed me aside, picked up Kayla in a hurry and rushed to the hospital. He said to his assistant, Yohan Anderson, "Yohan, send Melissa home and buy a birthday cake for Skylar. She's grown up now. Let her take care of Melissa and don't cause any more trouble."

I returned to our home, Maldiary Villa, in a daze. Looking at everything familiar in front of me, I missed Skylar desperately.

But Skylar had already gone.

I couldn't help but twitch and cry. Just then, the person in charge of the cemetery suddenly sent me a message: [Ms. Anderson, something terrible has happened. Skylar's grave was destroyed!]

I stood up in horror and rushed towards the cemetery regardless of everything.

When I got there, Skylar's grave had already been dug up, and standing beside it were Oliver and Kayla.

Kayla asked the bodyguard to throw Skylar's urn out in disgust, and then she carefully put the body of a cat into the grave.

The small urn was knocked over by the roadside, just like Skylar's broken body. She really would never come back!

I shouted, "What are you doing? I'm going to kill you!"

Oliver said, "Melissa, what's wrong with you? Why did you follow me here? Didn't I ask you to go back and celebrate Skylar's birthday?"

I laughed so heartbreakingly. He had destroyed his daughter's grave with his own hands.

"Oliver, what right do you have to talk about me? When Skylar was most helpless, where were you as her father? You were sleeping with your ex-girlfriend and humiliating your wife!"

Kayla's face turned red with anger because of my words. "Melissa, what have I done to you? You're slandering my innocence. I will sue you for defamation!"

"You can just go ahead!" I looked at them as if they were a pile of garbage.

I shouted, "Go away! Both of you! You don't deserve to be here!"

I threw the cat's body away forcefully, and then, little by little, I carefully picked up Skylar's scattered ashes.

Kayla let out a terrified scream. "Ah! Oliver, she actually threw our precious son away! Will was the birthday gift you gave me, the boy we raised together. How could she..."

She looked on the verge of tears, as if she couldn't stand the shock and was about to faint at any moment.

Oliver quickly held her up tenderly and said to me, "Apologize to Kayla and Will!"

Looking at Kayla's tear-stained face, he dragged me down and forced me to apologize.

I sat on the ground in despair.

"Oliver, my heart hurts so much! Didn't you say Melissa is gentle and sensible? She's just jealous of me! Since she doesn't like me, then I'll leave..." Kayla tried to provoke Oliver.

I laughed loudly and said, "Fine!"

Hearing Skylar's name, I looked at Oliver sorrowfully and said, "Oliver, do you know that Skylar is already dead? The ashes you scattered just now were hers. Why does my poor baby have a father like you? If there's a next life, I'm sure Skylar will stay far away from you and me."

"Melissa, stop talking nonsense! Just because I didn't take Skylar to celebrate her birthday, you're even cursing her!" Oliver completely lost his patience and kicked Skylar's urn hard. The ashes spilled all over the ground.
