Declan Reid was allergic to saliva.

To scrape together enough money to marry me, he forced himself to take on kissing scenes. He'd even gone into anaphylactic shock once and ended up in the emergency room.

Seeing that my family still wouldn't budge, I secretly eloped with him to another state to get married.

I even spent half my assets to pave his way in the entertainment industry.

The day he won the Breakthrough Actor Award, he knelt before the cameras, looking straight at me.

"From now on, no matter how famous I become, I swear I will never take another kissing scene. It's only for my beloved wife."

That night, I received a video.

In it, he was passionately kissing Willow Thorne, his face flushed with health.

Willow pushed him away, breathless, a teasing glint in her eyes.

"Mr. A-Lister, no more allergic reactions to my saliva?"

Declan smirked, lifting her hips slightly.

"You can try again, see what else I'm not allergic to..."

Listening to their breathless sounds in the video, I didn't even blink. With a flick of my wrist, I uploaded it for the whole internet to see.
