I had been secretly married to my first love, Evelyn Miller, for five years. She said that she would announce our marriage at a party for our son.

I was so excited that I told Henry Cole, my only family, about this matter.

To show his respect for Evelyn, my younger brother, Henry, lived frugally and used the money he saved to buy a pair of diamond earrings for Evelyn.

Just before I was about to go on stage with my baby in my arms, a strange man suddenly snatched the baby out of my arms. Then he held Evelyn's hand intimately and went on stage. Evelyn said to everyone, "Today, I want to announce a big event at my baby's party. Matthew and I grew up together since we were kids, and today, we've finally decided to hold a wedding!"

As soon as these words were spoken, countless complicated looks instantly fell on me.
