"Meeting you was so fortunate..."

"Actually, I've been singing this song for someone special. I've liked him for a long time."

"But today, I don't want to keep it in my heart anymore. I want to express my feelings to you here."

Olivia stood in the middle of the campus field, unconsciously fidgeting with the hem of her clothes, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush.

I had been running frantically back to campus, only to stumble upon this scene.

My steps faltered.

I held my breath, praying in my heart that Olivia wouldn't say those words.

"Ethan, I've liked you for a long time. Will you be with me?"

She shouted into the microphone she was holding, her confession echoing across the entire field.

Instantly, everyone turned to look at where Ethan was standing and started cheering.

"Say yes! Say yes! Say yes!"

My heart skipped a beat.

My suspicions over the past few weeks were true, and Mike and the others hadn't lied to me.

Ethan was pushed by those around him to Olivia's side.

Standing together, they indeed made a good-looking couple.

"Olivia, actually, I like you too."

Ethan reached out and caressed her face, gazing at her eyes lovingly.

Olivia smiled. I had never seen her smile so brightly before.

"Ahhhh! They're together!"

They embraced on stage, the cheering from the crowd below grew more intense, with screams ringing in my ears.

No one noticed me in the corner, my heart breaking.
