I lost my memory.

Alexander asked if I remembered who my boyfriend was.

I pointed to his playful-smiling brother behind him.

Alexander breathed a sigh of relief, as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

But later, on my wedding night with his brother, he frantically pounded on the door.

"You can't get married! Lily, please come out!"

After the doctor told me I had lost part of my memory, Alexander visited me every day.

The day before I was discharged, he suddenly asked, "Lily, do you remember who your boyfriend is?"

I looked at the man sitting in the corner with a playful smile. Ethan, Alexander's brother.

Since I was hospitalized, he had come every day. He was quiet, and crucially, he was exactly my type.

My best friend said that before I lost my memory, Ethan had been pursuing me.

So, I pointed at him and said, "He's my boyfriend."

I don't know if it was my imagination, but after I said this, Alexander seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

He showed his first smile in days: "Yes, Ethan is your boyfriend."

Ethan chuckled and stood up.

Broad shoulders, narrow waist, tall figure, combined with his outstanding looks, he was like walking testosterone.

I stared at him as he approached me.

"I'll come pick you up tomorrow when you're discharged, girlfriend." The upward lilt in his voice was full of endless tenderness.

I suddenly blushed, my heart racing as I watched him leave.

"Lily..." I turned back to face Alexander's displeased expression, and my smile faded. "Why are you still here?"

Alexander's eyes darkened slightly, "I'm getting engaged in a few days, so... I can't come pick you up when you're discharged tomorrow."

I waved my hand, "Thanks, but my boyfriend will be here, so it's fine."
