My Sweet Revenge: I Fed My Toxic Family to the Wolves
Chapter 2
Soon, police cruisers surrounded me, sirens blaring and red-and-blue lights flashing.
The noise irritated me. When the officers questioned me, I answered calmly,
"I just want to find all of my mother."
I tried to move to the next spot, but several female officers pinned me down.
During the struggle, my mother's bones scattered across the snow. My mind snapped.
Tears poured down my face, and I screamed like a wild animal.
"Let me go!"
"Let me go!"
They didn't let go. Instead, they held me tighter.
"Trust us! We are the police! We will help you!"
I stopped fighting. Just as they sighed in relief, I burst into hysterical laughter.
"Trust you? I told you guys years ago that my mother was buried here!"
"But you didn't believe me! None of you believed me!"
My voice cracked, and my head felt like it was tearing apart. I lost all grip on reality.
I was like a rabid dog, wanting to bite anyone who stood in my way.
It wasn't until the paramedics arrived and injected me with a sedative that the world finally went black.
