Chapter 4

The story of Kieran and me is simple.

Kieran is well-known at the academy, not just for his numerous part-time jobs, but also for his outstanding grades.

Even though he wore patched clothes, the unyielding determination in his eyes deeply moved me.

So I pursued him passionately.

I was born into a well-educated family, the only daughter in a first-tier city, with intellectual parents, always living without financial worries.

Initially, Kieran wasn't interested in me.

But I persisted, and a year later, our story found its ending.

We became a couple.

However, this led to a lot of gossip in the academy.

They all said Kieran was a poor boy who managed to win over a wealthy, beautiful girl.

I even argued with Kieran over this.

But later, Kieran didn't care about these rumors and treated me even better than before.

After we graduated from college, we got married. Because he was Kieran, I chose to enter wedded bliss early.

I believe our relationship hasn't reached a point where he would want to harm me.
