Lucas didn't agree to the divorce and stormed off angrily.

In his view, I was just throwing a tantrum, deliberately acting out. After all, without his protection, where could I find someone better?

After that day, Lucas never contacted me again. He had always been the golden boy, used to being adored. He was waiting for me to apologize first.
