"It's your duty to spend money on me, but spending Daniel's money is wrong."

Nora was being unreasonable, hands on her hips, her neck flushed red.

Her face was twisted with anger as her eyes darted to the scissors on the living room table. She strode over.

Realizing what she was about to do, I rushed to stop her, but she shoved me away.

Without hesitation, she grabbed the scissors and slashed the surface of the bag.

"How could you buy this! How could you spend Daniel's money!

"Today, I'm going to show you who's in charge of this house!"

After slashing the surface, she snipped the strap off the bag and then casually threw it into the trash can.

She looked at me smugly.

"I bet you won't dare buy another bag again! This is the consequence of defying me!"

I stood there, my mouth agape in shock.

A 30,000-dollar bag, just like that, was tossed away.

Seeing me frozen in place, she grew even bolder, not the slightest bit remorseful.

It seemed like she wasn't done yet; she stormed into my bedroom, her eyes fixed on my vanity.

With a swift motion, she knocked the entire vanity over. My cosmetics and skin care products shattered on the floor.

"Nora! What are you doing?"

I screamed, unable to believe the scene unfolding before my eyes.

I bought these cosmetics last week. I'd barely used them, and now they were all broken!

"Don't you love makeup? You always spend so much of Daniel's money on it. I've hated it for a long time!

"Today, I'm going to clean all your stuff out!

"Without these, let's see if you can still seduce other men!"

She said this as she looked around the room, her eyes landing on my wardrobe.

She opened it, grabbed the scissors, and began cutting my clothes, one by one.

In no time, every piece of clothing was ruined, shredded into tatters.

She kept cutting, her jealousy almost palpable as she looked at me.

"Look at you, Stella. Buying so many clothes I've never seen before!

"Tell me, did some man buy these for you? Are you carrying on with other men?"
