Looking at the twisted expression on Nora's face and then at the shattered cosmetics and shredded clothes all over the floor, I couldn't hold back my anger anymore.

It felt like I lost my mind. I grabbed her by the hair and slapped her face, one slap after another.

My hands shook with rage, and I had no idea how hard I was hitting her.

"Stella! You dare hit me... you bitch!"

She struggled, but I held her tightly, slapping her over and over again.

With the combined pain in her scalp and cheek, her arrogance from before turned into begging.

"Stell... stop hitting me, please! It's my fault. It's all my fault!

"Please stop. My head hurts... my face..."

Hearing her groaning, I finally regained some control. I let go of her, and she fell onto the broken glass scattered on the floor.

"Ahh!"

Immediately, her hands were cut by the shards of glass.

She stared at her hands in disbelief, then shot me a vicious glare, as if she wanted to tear me apart.

"Stella! You bitch! You've beaten me like this. Daniel will never forgive you!

"When he comes back, I'll make sure he divorces you!"

I took a deep breath, trying to suppress my fury, and picked up my phone to call him.

The moment the call was connected, she grabbed my phone like a mad woman.

"Daniel! I'm at home, and Stella's going to kill me! If you don't pick up now, you'll never see me again!

"Come back and divorce this bitch!"

I just turned on hands-free, so I could hear him impatiently saying, "I'm at work right now. Why do you keep stressing me out every day?"

She kept complaining on the phone, insisting that he come back right away.

Finally, he relented. "I'll come back after work."

She instantly wore a triumphant expression, looking at me smugly.

"When Daniel gets back, you're toast!"
